CONYERS, Ga. -- A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a recent robbery and carjacking in Conyers.

Marshall Martin Graham has been charged with armed robbery and is being held without bond in the Rockdale County Jail.

Rockdale County Sheriff's Inv. Michael Camp said the incident happened at around 2 a.m. Tuesday at the Salem Chase Apartments on Salem Road.

Police originally received a call about a suspicious person at the complex. It turned into an armed robbery call when two suspects pulled guns on two victims, stole a wallet and a Pontiac Aztek SUV, and drove off, Camp said.

The suspects crossed the border into DeKalb County before abandoning the car at a BP near the intersection of Turner Hill Road and Old Covington Highway in Lithonia.

Camp said the suspects tried to run. Graham was caught right away; the other person is still at large and is described as a black man wearing a red bandana over his face.

Police found a handgun on Graham when they arrested him, Camp said.
