Rockdale County celebrates National County Government Month

CONYERS, Ga. –- In celebration of National County Government Month (NCGM), Rockdale County government joins the National Association of Counties (NACo) and other county governments to showcase programs and services that raise public awareness and understanding about the roles and responsibilities of County government. This year’s theme is Ready and Resilient Counties: Prepare. Respond. Thrive.

Since 1991, NACo has encouraged counties across the nation to actively promote county government programs and services. To commemorate NCGM, Rockdale encourages citizens to take advantage of essential services and programs and attend events in April, which highlight the NCGM theme.

Below is a full schedule of NCGM programs and events in Rockdale.

The pilot will also train a small group of local attorneys alongside staff in the Rockdale County Clerk of Courts Office and the Sheriff’s Office during the month of April. A broader roll out of eFile Georgia is planned later this year, and is anticipated to become mandatory in Georgia and other states. For more information, visit www.rockdaleclerk.com.
