Navy SEALs bringing legendary obstacle course race to Atlanta
CONYERS, Ga. -- Leaders of BattleFrog, the obstacle course race group founded by former U.S. Navy SEALs, have announced that due to the tremendous amounts of requests they have received they are bringing their legendary obstacle course race series back to metro Atlanta. The May race will be one of the first stops on the 2015 tour that will see the organization award more than $1 million in cash and prizes to competitors.
BattleFrog Atlanta will be held on Saturday, May 16 at Georgia International Horse Park (1996 Centennial Olympic Parkway, Conyers). Last year’s event drew participants from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
Activities begin at 7:30 a.m. and will feature heats for all participants and age levels, as well as an entire family-friendly experience that includes interacting with Navy SEALs, enjoying multiple attractions within the festival compound, and watching racers tackle BattleFrog’s obstacles.
